Original Sicilian pine cones entirely handmade H 32 x 17 cm
this pine cone is worked with a very particular technique called "third fire"
it is fired several times at high gradations with overlapping colors,
it gives it a final decoration that is always partly different,
this technique makes it even more unique than traditional monochromatic decorations.
As you can see from the photos, our pine cones are all irregular,
this distinguishes them from those made by "casting", the beauty is that each one is different,
even their small imperfections make it a high quality pine cone.
Pine cones are an integral part of the Sicilian tradition, in every house we have at least one because they are a good omen,
in fact, the pine cone is often given as a gift on many occasions, for births, weddings, birthdays, when a new home is built or a new business is inaugurated.
These pine cones are made entirely by hand in the shape and decoration, thanks to the particular technique that is used they can be placed safely outdoors,
they will not suffer any damage from bad weather, high or low temperatures.
it should be noted that each pine cone is handmade so it could be slightly different from the one in the photo.
